A calm, no-pressure way to explore whether working together feels right.
The Trial Session gives us space to slow things down, talk things through, and see how my coaching might support you and your horse.
It’s about clarity — not commitment.
What to Expect
We’ll begin with a focused conversation, giving us time to step back and look at the bigger picture.
We’ll explore:
your experience and goals
what’s currently feeling challenging or unclear
how you and your horse are working together right now
I’ll also explain how coaching at AERA is structured and help you consider which Pathway — if any — might suit you best.
Practical / Applied Element
The second part of the Trial Session depends on how we’re working together.
In person:
A 30–45 minute practical session, either groundwork or ridden, depending on what’s most appropriate.
Online:
Video review and discussion, using short clips you send in advance to explore what you’re noticing and how to move forward.
This part isn’t about performance.
It’s simply an opportunity to experience my teaching style, ask questions, and explore how learning together might feel.
Is it a commitment?
No.
The Trial Session is a chance for both of us to decide whether our ways of working align.
If it feels like a good fit, we can talk about next steps.
If not, you’ll still leave with insights and reflections you can take away.
